Well ... i'll be the first ... Thanks.

I admit, i don't have tested your solution but i will in my next project.

I will use it in Entity Framework context. Hope it will work :)

thank you very much for this tool, people often use Entity framework with poco but i think the best way is to use DTO instead because the BLL don"t have to know about the model especially if you have differents datasources (different databases, xml files...) .

Is it possible to add an option that classes will be generated in a folder in the project (for exemple i create autogenerated folder in my DTO project, and another folder for my own DTO)

Also is it possible to have an option Append 'DTO' to the end of the object name or not (insted of UserDTO i will use DTO.User)

Thanks again

Hello riadhgomri.

I agree with you, DTO pattern is the best way to separate concerns in that case.

About your suggestions, thanks a lot! Good points, I have created the Features in the Issue Tracker, feel free to add comments if you want:

[Feature] Allow DTO generation inside a folder: here

[Feature] Allow Assembler generation inside a folder: here

[Feature] DTO append/prepend option: here

UPDATE (21/11/2012)
v3.0 has been released and all the above features are available now!
